Mohammad Muslim: We call on all workers in the service sectors to resume their work efficiently to ensure the continuity of providing services to our honorable people. -Minister of Education in the Syrian caretaker government, Nazir al-Qadri: We congratulate our people in beloved Syria on this great victory, and we inform them that Syria will open a new and bright page on all levels, especially in the education file, so that we can all build the Syria of the future. We started receiving files related to the Ministry of Education from the previous government of the deposed regime, and we held several sessions and meetings with the cadres working on this file to rearrange it in a manner consistent with the next stage to achieve results that are appropriate and satisfy the great Syrian people. Starting next week, we will resume the educational process throughout Syria. We will also work on developing plans and visions that will advance and improve free education, with the aim of raising generations capable of building the Syria of the future. We formed committees from the ministry to follow up on the work of the education directorates in a number of governorates and to determine the readiness to launch the educational process. The formed committees continued their work with the departments in each directorate and reviewed the most important statistics for students, cadres, and the need to fill vacancies and organize school work with the return of school hours. We also held sessions with the directors of the central directorates in the Ministry of Education and were informed about the work of each directorate and the obstacles they face so that they would be prepared to follow up on the work of the ministry and the continuation of education in Syria. The committees discussed with the cadres the subjects being taught, and stressed that no lesson containing phrases related to the former criminal regime should be taught, and stressed the need to erase any features related to the deposed regime. We will do everything in our power to ensure that our students in Syria continue their education in the best possible way, so that they will be the generation that will build the civilization of a free Syria.
